Ive spent most of my money on scooters, and pretty much wasted the rest of it.

It looks pretty clean. At least have a look. Ya never know, if it runs well that would be a killer price for a second scoot. But if they can't figure out a simple steering issue, might be run hard. A spree would be fun.

Every now and then I would see a scooter around here (Kearns). There is a bike salvage yard up in Orem (Grim Cycle) and they have alot of scooters. Their pretty cheap too.

as far as i know, all of the aeros were 2T scoots, so the oily texture is probably because the gas is premixed. i'm jealous man, these things are kinda ugly, but i bet that beast will fly when ya get it goin!

when it warms up a bit i need to check this place out. i have wondered where wrecked/salvage scooters go. i know it doesnt take a lot for an insurance company to total out a scooter. it could be in pretty good shape, (motor, cvt and rear tire intact) someone on modernbuddy just did a rattler motor into a buddy 50 frame. i thinks this would be fun to do. the buddys are light and nimble and the stock rattler motor has plenty of power to make it fun. i have always wanter to do a gy6 metro swap but this may be the ticket. :scootflame:

thats the only place i've found that has some scooters. i heard about another one called Bills Boneyard and they may have some.
Grim mostly had 80's honda and some yamaha. they were kinda pricey at $175 a piece (bought 2)IMO. Some of them dont have a title, but Sean (owner) was more than willing to sign a bill of sale and a application for lost title. I want to try to get up there while there is still snow on the ground to see if they are any cheaper.

Close. The oil is pumped into the carb so it is not pre-mixed but it is mixed in the carb.

So where are you at with this scooter?
