will not go(properly)

Just got my hands on a 2007 liquid cooled jog rr.Starts and runs well for first couple of minutes then dies to almost dead stop,will keep going but only just.If i stop and switch off for 5 or so mins the process starts again,starts well pulls well for a couple of mins then dies again.Carbs?Fuel?Where do i start?Anybody any ideas?BYRNIE

i would start with cleaning the carb (if it has carbs i want to see a pic of the intake so maybe i can do it to my zuma) puting in a new plug and cleaning the air filter
also while you are at it if you have a compression tester i would test it whil i was checking every thing out

check the flow of fuel to the carb and into the carb. sounds liek a fuel issue. check the float operation and the litle valve, clean it good, and try again.

WARNING: sometimes carb cleaner is not rubber friendly. anything made out of rubber in the carb is best to clean by hand :imo:

Check your autoluber. Could be soft siezing.
2006 TN'G Milano two stroke.
70cc Malossi Sport top end.
NGK BR8HS plug. Dellorto PHVA 17.5. Malossi Karbonit reeds.
Athena variator. 40 gram total weight rollers. Yellow torque spring. Yellow clutch springs. OKO Nitrogen adjustable billet shock.
